GO OR GO SKIM: It's the only way.

Hoy ve la luz un nuevo comienzo para nosotros. Un nuevo paso en el camino de nuestro proyecto. Por fin llega ese momento en el que llevamos centrados tantos meses, el nacimiento de la nueva web, la digievolución de Gorgonitas a GORGO SKIM.

La repercusión, el número de seguidores, el apoyo y el reconocimiento cada vez son mayores y este nuevo movimiento se centra principalmente en reforzar los objetivos iniciales. Cada vez son más los emails y mensajes de Facebook que recibimos con consultas, cada vez llegan de más países, cada vez hay más skimmers que necesitan ayuda y cada vez hay más personas de otros deportes extremos interesados en saber más sobre el skimboarding. De ahí la idea base para crear un site mejor, un site que sirva a los skimmers de siempre y a todos aquellos que vayan llegando. Eso es todo.

Un montón de ideas están bajo llave para 2014. Ya irán viendo la luz. De momento la historia de GORGO SKIM de ahora en adelante que por escribir, pero no sin antes agradecer a cada una de las personas que han formado y forman parte de esto y ponen interés en que siga evolucionando… Toda la “old school” de Barcelona y los que van llegando y se unen para renovar energías con las pegatinas en sus tablas (nombrarlos sería demasiado extenso), los que se han hecho socios porque sin ellos no se podrían afrontar algunos objetivos, Oliver, Rafa, Calle, Raúl, Hugo, Manias, Miles, Lucas, Jason, Juanlu, Aaron, André, Bernardo, Tim, Toeknee y toda la gente que ha colaborado, antes o después, con entrevistas, fotos , videos, ayudas, apoyo en los campeonatos, esté su nombre o no en esta corta lista y etcétera, etcétera, etcétera… MUCHAS GRACIAS, de verdad.

Today sees the light a new beginning for us. A new step forward on the way of our project. Finally arrives that moment in which we have been focused during months and months, the birth of the new website, the digievolution from Gorgonitas to GORGO SKIM.

The repercussion, the number of followers, the support and the appreciation is bigger day by day and this new movement its focused mainly on strengthen the initial goals. We receive lots of mails and messages on Facebook about queries, from many different countries, the number of skimmers looking for help is increasing and many people of different extreme sports are interested to know more about skimboarding. All these facts together made the idea to create a better site, a site the current skimmers that visit us can keep doing it and also for the new visitors to come.

Lots of ideas are being developed for the 2014. It will appear. By the moment the history of GORGO SKIM from now on should be written, but before that we should thank every person that took and take place of this and put their intention to keep evolving this project… The whole “old school” from Barcelona and those who are arriving and joins us to renew the energy with stickers on his boards (to name theme would be very extensive), those who became a member of the club because without theme some of the goals wouldn’t be reached, Oliver, Rafa, Calle, Hugo, Manias, Miles, Lucas, Jason, Aaron, André, Bernardo, Tim, Toeknee and all the people which collaborated, sooner or later and although their name is not in the list, with interviews, pictures, videos, helps, support in the championships and a long etcetera… THANKS A LOT, from the heart.
